Jeremy Furchtgott is a Director at Baron Public Affairs, a political risk consulting firm in Washington, D.C. Mr. Furchtgott manages projects across the firm’s portfolio and developed Baron’s Influencer Analytics, an approach for identifying the most important sources of influence in the public sphere. Baron has advised clients in the health care sector for over a decade on some of the most contentious recent policy debates covering the commercial, individual, Medicare, and Medicaid markets, and issues including drug pricing, hospital pricing, tax treatment, FDA regulation, and risk adjustment. Since joining Baron in 2013, he has led the firm’s work on health care, China, energy, and transportation.
Riley Kruse is an Associate at Baron who leads the firm’s analysis of political and commercial competition in the health care sector, including associated intellectual trends in emerging ideological communities. He has played a central role in the firm’s work on drug pricing, price transparency, and health care competition as well as on food and nutrition policy. Mr. Kruse has specific expertise in tracking underappreciated financial relationships and business models in health care policy.
